Ancient Agora
Agora had been the

of Acropolis, it is bound by the hill of the Areopagus and the hill Kolonus Agraios, in south and west. It is believed that the
agora has been established as early as 6th century BC. Agora had

The Temple of Zeus
The temple of the

Plaka district is
basically a popular village, located just under the Acropolis. It's a city
ideal for shopping, dining and to get a glimpse of what the day-to-day life of
a typical Athenian looks and feels like. The village features narrow labyrinthine streets made
of stone, alongside which stands residents of the villagers, which are made of
stone and brick, elaborating the Cycladic architecture. There's also a
range of restaurants, shops, pubs & bars where one could sit and enjoy
an authentic Athens meal while feeling the traditional Greek culture. Plaka
district is quite private, unique and calm. One could also visit the Jewish
Museum and the Folk-Art Museum, while they are in Plaka.
Erechtheum
Erechtheum is an old
Greek temple made of Pentelic marbles. Located in Acropolis, Erechtheum is
considered one of the architectural masterpieces of Greece Destinations. The
Erechtheum is considered to be a sanctuary dedicated to Athena Polias, Poseidon
and Erechtheus. The shrine dedicated to Athena can still be visited today. The
most defining feature of Erechtheum is the 6 figures of draped females who
support the entablature.
